A little goes a long way. I melt a small amount between clean fingers and press it into my skin, face, lips, even cuticles. It melts in beautifully without feeling heavy.

Yes, it’s safe to wear during the day, just note it doesn’t contain SPF. Great as a base under sunscreen or makeup. It still offers protective benefits thanks to its rich antioxidants and nourishing fats, which help strengthen the skin barrier and keep it calm and hydrated throughout the day.

Each essential oil in the balm has been chosen with care to support skin healing, clarity, and calm, without ever overwhelming sensitive skin.
Organic Rosehip Oil
Rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, rosehip oil is deeply nourishing and regenerative. It’s high in vitamins A, C, and E, which support skin healing, reduce the appearance of scars and fine lines, and help brighten dull or tired skin. Rosehip also has anti-inflammatory properties, making it ideal for soothing flare-ups or irritation.Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil is known for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities. In low concentrations, it gently helps to calm blemishes, support clear skin, and balance without stripping the skin’s natural oils. It’s particularly helpful for acne-prone or eczema-prone skin needing a gentle purifying boost.Lavender Oil
Lavender oil brings a layer of softness and calm, to both the skin and the senses. It’s soothing, antimicrobial, and known to support the skin’s natural healing process. It also offers a light, comforting scent that makes each use feel like a grounding ritual.Together, these essential oils work harmoniously with the tallow and rosehip oil base to promote soft, clear, and resilient skin, all wrapped in a daily moment of nurturing care.

Since this balm is made from pure, natural fats combined with stable oils, it is naturally shelf-stable. We recommend using it within 6 to 12 months for the best freshness and effectiveness. To keep it lasting longer, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Always use clean, dry fingers, and keep the container tightly sealed.

Each jar of tallow balm is made by hand in small batches, right here in South Australia. It starts with local and ethically sourced, grass-fed beef tallow, which is melted at a low temperature to preserve all its rich, skin-healing nutrients. This process takes time, but it’s worth it.
Once the tallow is silky and pure, I blend in organic rosehip oil, lavender, and tea tree essential oils for their calming, anti-inflammatory, and protective qualities. Then comes my favourite part, I whip the balm into a thick, airy cream, like soft butter. It’s light, smooth, and sinks into the skin beautifully.
Each jar is hand-piped like frosting, one by one, with care and intention. It’s a ritual I love, using no machines. Just honest ingredients and slow, loving hands.

Our tallow is sourced from local South Australian farms that care deeply about the land and animals. It’s always grass-fed, well raised, hormone-free, and a byproduct that would otherwise go to waste, I make sure nothing good is wasted.
